The Pre-K class is divided into different play and learning centers. Children learn best by experiencing different problems. Decisions making situations are presented, and they learn to solve their own problems. The children learn how to share and develop long-lasting friendships among their classmates, which helps to develop their social skills.
Each child learns at their own pace, the basic skills needed to prepare them for kindergarten. They engage in many large muscle activities, such as outside play, and many music and movement activities throughout the classroom. They are not pressured to learn different tasks, but they are encouraged to try new things and are praised and complimented for their efforts.
